Saturday became a very blue day. We were feeling blue, dyed blue, and so was everything that we touched. One of us picked up the jar of undiluted blue instead of the diluted and put it in the dye pot. We dyed everything we could find and never did exhaust the dye. We also rinsed and rinsed and rinsed trying to get the excess dye out of what we did dye. We did wind up with some pretty blue yarns though.
I attempted to dye some roving for socks but it turned out VERY green and I think it will go to Lyn and I will try again.

It was a very blue day however if you like blue then it was wonderful. We had a lot of fun. We also divided out the dye sopper's that some of us had ordered and found we had lots of colorful fun. Of course we did trade some of our color so those that like green or yellow could go to those who really enjoyed those colors. All in all it was a lot of fun for the afternoon.
